Larimar Wing Pendant

Larimar is only found in the Carribean, it forms in hollows in lava in the Domincan Republic.
This is a very rare form of Pectolite. The copper formation in pectolite instead of calcium produces beautiful shades of blue, white and turquoise, that looks very much like the tranquil sea. The red or brown areas sometimes found on Larimar is oxidation or hematite inclusions.
 
Larimar is a stone of serenity. It is also a water element stone that cools tempers, calms fears, relieves stress and nurtures the physical and emotional body. It is a throat charkra stone and can aid in communication.
